About me

Julian is a World Press Photo-winning photographer based in Manila, Philippines.
A native of Montreal, Canada, Julian spent 7 years working in Vietnam as Chief Photographer for epa (European Pressphoto Agency).
His editorial work has been featured in the New York Times, TIME Magazine, Stern, Der Speigel, the Economist, the Guardian, the Telegraph, US News & World Report, L'Espresso, Communication Arts and many other international newspapers and magazines.
In 2009, Julian won awards at World Press Photo, Sony World Photography Awards and the International Photography Awards, for his work at the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.
Julian's commercial, corporate and NGO clients include UNAIDS, UNFPA, GAVI, ACCOR Hotel Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, Plan International, Asian Development Bank, Duane Morris LLP, Vinacapital, Purple Asia, and many others.
Julian will often listen to My Bloody Valentine's Loveless on repeat while editing pictures.
